Equinox Gold Brazil Launches Ride to Greenstone Campaign

Our Brazilian sites have kicked off the Ride to Greenstone campaign with great enthusiasm, focusing on physical activities like walking, running, and sports. Employees are tracking their activities through a custom app, where every activity logged earns credits. The more activities recorded, the bigger the donation Equinox Gold Brazil will make to local charities.

Our contractors have also contributed generously to the cause. To celebrate, each site hosted a Donation Day event, a special occasion to publicly recognize the campaign’s efforts, highlight the charities, and encourage more support for the Ride to Greenstone event in Brazil.

Aurizona and RDM have already held their Donation Day events. Aurizona organized a Green March, bringing together students, teachers, and the mayor of Luis Domingues to showcase the work of the Corina dos Anjos Ferreira School. RDM hosted a cultural event near the Almirante Tamandaré School, featuring traditional dances and local heritage displays.

Santa Luz and Fazenda will hold their Donation Day events soon. These events will celebrate the campaign’s success and further support the charities. At the end of the campaign, we’ll tally up the total hours of physical activity and the impact of the Donation Day events, emphasizing our commitment to supporting local organizations.
